Gallery on the Square

History

Gallery on the Square was born thanks to the Hendricks County Arts Council (HCAC).
HCAC was formed in 2004 to promote the Arts in Hendricks County.  In 2008, HCAC helped promote a HoHo Holiday Gallery in a temporary site on the square in Danville, Indiana.
The success of that temporary gallery prompted the members to pursue a permanent location.  In June 2009, after much cleaning and renovation, the Gallery on the Square opened to the public.  20 artists now participate in this beautiful gallery and display and sell a wide variety of artwork from drawings and paintings to metal sculpture, mosaics, wood art, photography,
and fiber art.
